Ex-Bad Boy Rapper G. Dep Freed From Prison After 13 Years
2024/04/04

Former Bad Boy Records rapper, G. Dep, has been released from prison after serving over 13 years behind bars. The artist, known for hits like "Special Delivery" and "Let's Get It," walked out of the prison gates this morning as a free man. Released under the Limited Credit Time Allowance program, G. Dep will now have to adhere to typical parole conditions such as checking in with his parole officer, refraining from possessing weapons or drugs without medical authorization, and obtaining permission to leave the State of New York.

During his time in prison, G. Dep earned an associate's degree and amassed a large collection of books. Despite his legal troubles, he is already teasing new music and is eager to catch up on all the food he's missed, starting with pancakes. Governor Kathy Hochul granted G. Dep clemency in December 2023, allowing him to seek parole earlier than anticipated.
