The Wallabies' new head coach, Joe Schmidt, will begin his tenure with a match against Wales at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on July 6. This fixture is significant as it marks the first time Wales will face the Wallabies in Australia since 2012. The match is part of a two-Test series against Warren Gatland's team. In addition, there will be a double-header featuring Australia's women's team, the Wallaroos, and their Fijian counterparts, the Fijiana. The Wallabies will seek revenge against Wales after their defeat at the Rugby World Cup in 2019. Following the series against Wales, Australia will host Georgia for the first time outside of a World Cup. The focus will then shift to the Rugby Championship, with the Wallabies facing South Africa in back-to-back Tests. The Bledisloe Cup will also return to Sydney for the first game of the series. Rugby Australia is excited to host 10 Tests across the Wallabies and Wallaroos teams on home soil, with matches scheduled in the four largest cities in Australia.
