With nearly 14,000 spectators at the MVP Arena in Albany to see the Iowa Hawkeyes take on the LSU Tigers in the NCAA Elite 8 matchup, millions worldwide also watched the game. Amongst them was basketball enthusiast Ben Shelton, who admired Caitlin Clark’s impressive performance. Clark, along with Angel Reese, led the Hawkeyes to a 94-87 victory. Shelton, who attended the University of Florida, achieved great success in college tennis before turning pro. In the NCAA March Madness, Clark is shining bright with her stellar stats and leading Iowa to the Final Four.
