2024/02/07

Taylor Swift hinted at her upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department," during her appearance at the Grammys. She wore a choker made from a vintage watch set to 12 o'clock, and Swift fans quickly noticed the reference to her new album. In addition, Swift shared the album's track list, including a song titled "Clara Bow," which is speculated to be inspired by the silent-film starlet. A fan on Twitter pointed out the similarities between Swift's jewelry and a vintage photo of Clara Bow draped in pearls. Both Swift and Bow were known for their signature red lipstick and some of Swift's music video looks have been compared to Bow's 1920s style. Clara Bow, also known as the "It Girl," was a popular actress in the silent movie era and successfully transitioned to talkies before retiring from Hollywood in 1933. It is expected that Swift will continue to draw style inspiration from Bow as she releases more details about her album.
