Why Ariana Grande’s ‘weird Christmas lingerie’ forced the label to cancel her original ‘Santa Tell Me’ music video
2024/02/07

Ariana Grande is the only female artist in Spotify history to have 14 songs with over 1 billion streams. In a recent video with Spotify, Grande discussed her achievements and revealed a funny story about her Christmas song "Santa Tell Me." She explained that the original music video for the song was a last-minute backup with no budget. The original video featured Grande in Christmas lingerie and hitting Santa with a candy cane pole, which she believed was the right vibe for the song. However, the label wisely advised against using it. Grande admitted she was glad she was reeled in that time. The released music video for "Santa Tell Me" has 293 million views and features Grande and friends in bed wearing furry animal hats. Fans have expressed their desire to see the original, "Naughty Version," of the video that was recorded in 2015 but never released. Grande recently released her latest single, "Yes, And?" and her seventh studio album, "Eternal Sunshine," is set to be released on March 8.
