Selena Quintanilla's Dad Slams New Docuseries with Killer Yolanda Saldivar
2024/02/07

Selena Quintanilla's killer, Yolanda Saldívar, is speaking out about her side of the story nearly three decades after committing the crime, in a new docuseries titled "Selena & Yolanda: The Secrets Between Them". However, her account is facing criticism from Selena's family, who find it disrespectful to the late icon.

Abraham Quintanilla, Selena's father, has condemned the Oxygen docuseries, emphasizing that neither he nor the rest of the family are involved or supportive of the project in any way. Abraham has expressed his disdain for Saldívar herself, declaring that her claims are fabricated lies which hold no credibility.

In the two-part documentary, Saldívar will provide her version of the events leading up to Selena's murder. She will delve into her working and personal relationship with the singer, and even include never-before-seen documents and recordings from her family members that suggest there may be more to the story than meets the eye. Claiming to know Selena's secrets, Saldívar seems determined to reveal what she believes is the truth.

The first part of the docuseries is set to premiere on February 17, with the second part following the next day. Saldívar is currently serving a life sentence but may be eligible for parole on March 30, 2025.
