2024/02/07

Jason Momoa made an appearance on Good Morning America to promote his new movie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The 44-year-old actor looked stylish in an ivory toggle-closure coat and matching pants, as he posed for the cameras outside ABC Studios. His long, curly hair was pulled back, and his beard was neatly trimmed. Inside the studio, he changed into a light green sweater.

Aquaman, which was released in 2018, is the highest-grossing DC film of all time, earning $1.2 billion worldwide. Momoa sat down with GMA hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan to talk about the sequel.

He revealed that his character has evolved, becoming a father, a husband, and the king. Momoa described himself as a reluctant king, and mentioned that his character doesn't get along with his brother, played by Patrick Wilson.

Momoa had a significant role in crafting the storyline of the sequel. He explained that after playing the character for so long, he wrote a 50-page treatment and pitched it to the filmmakers, who liked it. As a result, he received a writing credit for the movie. Momoa also shared that there is a lot of ad-libbing in Aquaman, which he finds appropriate for the role.

During the interview, Michael Strahan asked about Momoa's exercise routine and whether he indulges over the holidays.

Momoa admitted that he loves eating and enjoys pasta with every meal. He was later spotted wearing the same ensemble as earlier, showcasing his muscular arms as he walked through the city.

In the evening, Momoa opted to wear his warm, white coat as he continued his busy day in New York. He wore brown-rimmed glasses and casually strolled on the crowded sidewalk while talking on his smartphone. When asked about his plans for the holidays, Momoa expressed excitement about spending time with his children and taking a break.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to hit theaters on December 22nd. With Momoa's involvement in crafting the sequel's storyline, it is anticipated to be a blockbuster.
