A tiny kitten was abandoned on a busy highway with no way to escape the danger. Fortunately, a kind police officer spotted her and rushed to her aid. Officer Jason Smith, from the North Kansas City Police Department, stopped his car on the shoulder and approached the scared kitten with a gentle call. He was able to rescue her from the highway barrier and bring her to safety. Once off the road, the kitten stopped crying and enjoyed the love and attention from Officer Smith. He decided to take her home and named her Bella. Bella now has a happy and loving home with other pets to play with. She has even gained her own Instagram page, @highwaykitty, where fans can follow her journey.
