Morgan Wallen, HARDY, and Post Malone performed a tribute to the late Joe Diffie at the 57th Annual CMA Awards. They sang Diffie's hit songs "John Deere Green" and "Pickup Man" while backed by Wallen's touring band. The performance was in honor of Diffie's upcoming tribute album, HIXTAPE Vol. 3: DIFFTAPE, set for release on March 29, 2024. The collaboration has the blessing of Diffie's estate, and HARDY expressed excitement about the project. Diffie, a country music legend, passed away in 2020 from COVID-19 complications.
