'We can't let the referee decide' - Finn Russell bemoans after dramatic loss
2024/02/11

Scotland co-captain Finn Russell admits that his team should not have let the officials decide the outcome of their Six Nations match with France. France scored late on to take a four-point lead, and despite Scotland's belief that they had scored a match-winning try in the final moments, the referee's decision was upheld and France won the game 20-16. Russell believes that the game should not have come down to that decision and that it is up to the team to perform better. Despite the disappointment, Russell is proud of Scotland's resilience and believes they can learn from the match going into their next game against England. Scotland will take a week break before facing England on February 24.
