France close in on All Blacks while Springboks stay top of world rankings

France have closed the gap on fourth-placed New Zealand in the latest World Rugby rankings. Following their narrow 20-16 win against Scotland, Les Bleus gained 1.12 points, leaving them just 2.41 points behind the All Blacks. Despite the loss, Scotland held onto sixth place, with Argentina trailing in seventh by 2.65 points. Meanwhile, England picked up 0.08 points from their tense 16-14 victory over Wales, keeping them further behind France. Elsewhere, Romania gained 0.02 points for defeating Belgium, but remain in 20th place. The top three in the rankings are South Africa, Ireland, and New Zealand respectively.
