Despite the loss, Scotland held onto sixth place, with Argentina trailing in seventh by 2.65 points. Meanwhile, England picked up 0.08 points from their tense 16-14 victory over Wales, keeping them further behind France. Elsewhere, Romania gained 0.02 points for defeating Belgium, but remain in 20th place. The top three in the rankings are South Africa, Ireland, and New Zealand respectively.
