France change two for Scotland after a record Six Nations defeat to Ireland
2024/02/08

France head coach Fabien Galthie has made two changes to his starting lineup ahead of their match against Scotland at Murrayfield. Following their defeat to Ireland in Round One, Galthie is hoping these changes will help his team bounce back. Louis Bielle-Biarrey will start on the left wing, replacing Yoram Moefana, while the back-three is completed by Thomas Ramos and Damian Penaud. The midfield remains unchanged, with Gael Fickou and Jonathan Danty starting. The half-back pairing of Matthieu Jalibert and Maxime Lucu also retain their positions. In the pack, Cameron Woki comes in for the suspended Paul Willemse in the second-row.

The rest of the front-row and the back-row remain the same. The bench includes replacements such as Julien Marchand, Sebastian Taofifenua, and Posolo Tuilagi. Galthie is well aware of Scotland's threat, particularly when playing at Murrayfield, and will be determined to avoid losing three games in a row. The match will take place on Saturday, February 10th at 14:15 GMT, with Nic Berry acting as the referee. The assistant referees will be Nika Amashukeli and Jordan Way, while Brian MacNeice will serve as the TMO.
