Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, never expected his story about giving Taylor Swift a friendship bracelet to get her attention. Speaking at a press conference before the Super Bowl, Kelce admitted that he didn't think he would even get a response from Swift when he expressed his interest in her on his podcast. In July 2023, Kelce revealed that he tried to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it when he attended one of her concerts. He was disappointed to learn that Swift doesn't meet anyone before or after her shows. However, someone close to Swift heard the podcast episode and encouraged her to reach out to Kelce.

They have since started dating and went public with their romance in September 2023. They have been going strong ever since, but have not been seen together since the Super Bowl. Swift recently won two awards at the Grammys and Kelce has been training for the championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.
