Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made quite the splash in New York City last week, with a surprise trip upstate in a private helicopter causing quite a stir. The couple was spotted leaving the Copake Country Club in Copake Lake, NY, which is just a little over 100 miles outside of the city. Arriving in style in SUVs, they boarded the helicopter and were soon soaring back to Manhattan.
The entire scene had a surreal quality to it, reminiscent of a movie or TV show. Ben was seen carrying a briefcase, while both he and Jen were dressed to combat the cold weather. Later in the weekend, the couple was seen attending a Broadway show in the city.
Rumors suggest that their visit was work-related, as Jennifer is currently filming an adaptation of the musical "Kiss of the Spider Woman." However, reports also indicate that they may have been house hunting in the area, hinting at a possible relocation. If their weekend excursion is any indication, they would certainly be the King and Queen of New York City.
