Kacey Musgraves has released a new song called "Deeper Well" which showcases her journey towards self-love and growth. Co-written with Danial Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the reflective folk-inspired tune sees Musgraves taking responsibility for her life choices and inner freedom. The lyrics candidly acknowledge the presence of two kinds of people - givers and takers - as Musgraves says her goodbyes to those who have wasted her time. The chorus expresses her need to take care of herself and find a deeper source of inspiration and love. Musgraves describes the song's message as a realization that sometimes one needs to change course and seek new sources of inspiration. "Deeper Well" is the title track from her upcoming fifth album, set to be released on March 15. The album was co-produced by Musgraves, Tashian, and Fitchuk, and was recorded at Electric Lady Studio in New York City.
