Country music superstars Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, and Mac McAnally will lead a musical tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett at the 2023 CMA Awards. The tribute aims to honor Buffett's significant influence on country music. Chesney and Buffett collaborated on a cover of Buffett's 1974 hit "Trying to Reason with Hurricane Season" in 2018, while Jackson's duet with Buffett on "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" became a chart-topping success. The awards show will air live from Nashville on November 8, with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning returning as hosts.
