2024/02/08

Country singer Craig Morgan has returned to military duty after being sworn in as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. This is not Morgan's first time serving in the military, as he previously spent 17 years in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve, holding positions such as staff sergeant and fire support specialist. He is a member of the U.S. Field Artillery Hall of Fame and has been awarded the USO Merit Award. Morgan has also made 16 trips overseas to perform for troops, earning him the Army's Outstanding Civilian Service Medal. In July 2023, he re-enlisted on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. Morgan's experiences in the military are detailed in his memoir, titled "God, Family, Country," which was released last fall. His latest album, "Enlisted," features collaborations with other country singers.
