In a friendly match for FBI Subang at the Siliwangi Stadium, 35-year-old Septain Raharja suddenly collapsed after being hit by a lightning bolt. Teammates and others rushed to his aid, but the severity of the strike was evident as Raharja suffered severe burns. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was still breathing, however, he tragically passed away later on.
Raharja's death shook the soccer community and several teams paid homage to the fallen player. A moment of silence was observed, with condolences being shared on FBI Subang's Instagram page, including heartfelt messages from star player Cristian Gonzalez. This devastating incident marks the second time a soccer player has been struck by lightning in Indonesia within the past year.
