The tribute featured Brooks & Dunn, Sammy Hagar, and Lainey Wilson singing Keith's hits. Baseball legend Roger Clemens led the performances, thanking Keith's wife Tricia for her support. Keith passed away on February 5, 2024, after battling stomach cancer. He had announced his diagnosis in 2021 and was looking forward to touring again. Sadly, he did not get the chance before being posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October. Keith's children were emotional during the tribute, transitioning from smiles on the red carpet to tears during the performances.
