HARDY Drops a Hint About His Upcoming Track, 'Rockstar,' and Spills the Beans on His Rock Album
2024/02/07

Country music artist HARDY is expanding his musical horizons by transitioning into rock music. After his cross-genre album "the mockingbird & THE CROW," HARDY announced on social media that he will be releasing a full-fledged rock record. His next single, called "Rockstar," is set to drop on February 9th. HARDY expressed his excitement for the upcoming release, describing it as "badass" and encouraging his fans to give it a listen. The cover art for the single features HARDY dressed up as rock artists who have influenced his career, such as KISS frontman Paul Stanley and Kurt Cobain from Nirvana.

Although HARDY did not reveal many details about his rock record, he did mention that it will be released before his headline tour begins in May.

Prior to the announcement of his rock record, HARDY released a spoken word track titled "QUIT!!," which reflects on his journey to success and the motivation to never back down. The autobiographical song was inspired by a moment in HARDY's early career when someone wrote the word "quit" on a napkin and placed it in his tip jar. Instead of allowing the negativity to discourage him, HARDY used it as fuel to propel his career forward. In the track, HARDY acknowledges the support he received from artists like Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen, who helped him establish a foothold in the industry.

He also encourages listeners to get to know someone before forming judgments.

In addition to his new music, HARDY announced his upcoming headline tour, named after his diss track "QUIT!!." The QUIT!! Tour will kick off on May 20, 2024, in Rogers, Arkansas, and will include 15 dates throughout the summer. HARDY will be performing at some of the largest venues of his career, with support from artists like Kip Moore, Travis Denning, Ella Langley, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
