Ozzy Osbourne has publicly criticised rapper Kanye West for using a sample of a Black Sabbath song on his latest album without permission. Osbourne’s wife, Sharon, also voiced her anger towards West, accusing him of anti-Semitism. She revealed that West had approached the couple three weeks prior to ask for permission to use a Black Sabbath song, but was refused. Sharon Osbourne stated that Kanye represents “hate” and is “a disrespectful anti-Semite.” Ozzy Osbourne took to social media to express his anger, claiming that West went ahead and used the sample at his album listening party. The couple has now sent a cease and desist letter to West, stating that they do not want any association with him. It is unclear whether legal action will be taken. The Osbournes dressed as West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, for Halloween, which suggests their disdain for him is longstanding.
