Two PRO D2 clubs have reportedly made lucrative offers to sign former England forward Courtney Lawes for the next season. Lawes' current contract with Northampton Saints is set to expire, and he has been linked with a move to France. It is believed that this would be Lawes' final contract before retiring, and he has stated his desire to be paid what he is worth. Provence Rugby has offered a contract worth approximately €23,000 per month, while Brive has reportedly made a better offer of around €35,000 per month. Both clubs are currently vying for promotion to the Top 14.
