'People Would Confuse Us': Rebel Wilson Thinks Adele Hates Her Because of Size Comparisons
2024/03/31

Rebel Wilson shared her thoughts on what she believes is Adele's negative feelings towards her due to past comparisons made about their size. In her upcoming memoir, Rebel Wilson revealed that Adele might "hate" her because she was once mistaken for the Grammy Award-winning singer. Wilson mentioned how Adele would quickly turn away whenever they crossed paths at public events, hinting that Adele didn't like being associated with the "Fat Amy" character Wilson portrayed in the Pitch Perfect movies.

Both stars have undergone significant weight loss transformations in recent years. Wilson's journey began during a "Year of Health" in 2020, motivated by her desire to have a healthier lifestyle for fertility reasons.

On the other hand, Adele lost around 100 pounds between 2017 and 2019, focusing on working out to feel better and become stronger.

Wilson also addressed her issues with Sacha Baron Cohen in her memoir, accusing him of acting unpleasantly during the filming of The Brothers Grimsby and threatening her over the release of the book. Cohen refuted Wilson's claims, calling them "demonstrably false."

Rebel Wilson's new book, Rebel Rising, will be available on Tuesday, April 2nd.
