Alright, I have to admit, it's been quite a journey for Evan Hofer as one of Sonny Corinthos' people. But it seems like his time on the show might be coming to an end. We haven't exactly been given much information about Dex's past, except for what he's revealed to Josslyn Jacks. He mentioned leaving home and his military service, but that's about it. Well, now it looks like Stephen A. Smith is determined to dig into Dex's history. And honestly, we're wondering what took him so long!
I mean, seriously, Brick was supposed to vet all the people on Sonny's island. Shouldn't he have looked into Dex's background before? It's a little disappointing to see him drop the ball like this. We were under the impression that Brick had done his job and found out that Dex used to be a soldier of fortune with some questionable morals. You'd think that would raise a red flag, right? Especially when Sonny explicitly told Dex to trust no one but him. It seemed like Brick was testing Dex, but it turns out he wasn't.
Now, after all this time, Brick is finally going to investigate Dex's past. Talk about procrastination! We're dying to know what he'll uncover. It could be anything from Dex's adventurous days as a soldier for hire to his family history. There might even be a connection to the notorious Jason Morgan. Who knows, maybe Dex has been receiving substantial payments from someone. But if he's smart, he's probably covered his tracks.
Once the truth comes out, we suspect that Dex is working for Chad. Maybe he's being bribed or blackmailed. Who knows? One thing's for sure, Dex is about to find himself in a whole lot of trouble.
