Ben Affleck has expressed both regret over his failed marriage to Jennifer Garner and his admiration for her in a series of recent interviews.  

And as eye-opening as the remarks are, they aren't sitting very well with Jennifer's current boyfriend, John Miller. 

John, who is the 47-year-old's first love interest since the end of her marriage to Ben,  47, is growing 'uncomfortable with Ben's interviews,' a source told Us Weekly.

The actor's marriage to Jennifer has been brought up multiple times as Ben promotes his new film, The Way Back, which sees the star, who has battled alcoholism in real life, play a basketball coach struggling with the same addiction.  

'John is empathetic to Ben's struggles with sobriety, but he worries about how Jennifer has once again become the focus,' the source said, adding Ben needed to be more considerate of Jennifer's feelings before expressing himself.  

John is supportive of Jennifer spending time with Ben as they continue to co-parent their three children together following their split. 

However, the businessman believes Ben would get back with Jennifer if he had the chance.   

'John believes Ben would remarry Jennifer if she wanted to get back together,' the source explained. 'John wants to marry Jennifer but knows she isn't ready yet.'

John and Jennifer have been dating since 2018, the same year her divorce with Ben was finalized.
