NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal made a pit stop in Nashville for a DJ gig on Friday, where he ended up making some new friends in law enforcement. After spinning some records at Skydeck, Shaq found himself surrounded by a group of Nashville Metro PD officers who couldn't resist snapping a photo with the star.
A video captured by downtown Nashville hot dog stand operator Frederick Barr shows the officers beaming with smiles as they posed with Shaq. The feeling was mutual, as Shaq flashed a huge grin for the camera before shaking a few hands and hopping into a white SUV.
This interaction is nothing new for Shaq, who seems to have a knack for building strong relationships with law enforcement. In fact, in 2021 he was appointed as the Director of Community Relations for the Henry County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, a role in which he works to bridge the gap between the community and law enforcement. It seems Shaq's charm knows no bounds, even among the men and women in blue.
