Elle King Plays First Show Since Drunken Dolly Parton Tribute
2024/03/17

Country singer Elle King made her return to the stage at the Extra Innings Festival in Tempe, Ariz., last weekend. This marked her first performance since a mishap during a tribute to Dolly Parton on Jan. 19. Elle shared some pictures from the show, including a unique shot showing blood dripping from her lip.

During the ill-fated tribute event at the Grand Ole Opry, Elle admitted to being intoxicated, leading to a failed rendition of Dolly Parton's song "Marry Me." Fans were left disappointed, causing the Opry to issue an apology. However, Parton herself showed understanding, praising Elle's talent and character.

Despite the setback, Elle King is pushing forward with upcoming shows, including the Country 2 Country Festival in Europe. Stay tuned as the "Worth a Shot" singer gets back on track and continues to entertain audiences with her music.
