Yes, Zendaya Will Attend the 2024 Oscars
2024/02/28

Take a deep breath of relief: Zendaya is confirmed to present at the 2024 Academy Awards. The talented actress, whose film "Dune: Part Two" is set to release in North American theaters this week, is among the initial group of Oscar presenters announced by ABC. She will share the stage with previous winners Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Ke Huy Quan, and Michelle Yeoh. More celebrity presenters will join the lineup in the next two weeks as the awards show will air live on Sunday, March 10, at the new time of 7 p.m. E.T. (4 p.m. on the West Coast).

Zendaya's absence from last year's Oscars sparked speculation on social media and in publications, with many wondering about her whereabouts.

However, she was not involved in any nominated projects at the time. Nonetheless, her stunning red carpet appearances always make headlines whenever she graces an awards show.

The 27-year-old "Euphoria" star has a busy schedule lately. She has been traveling the globe for the promotional tour of "Dune" with her co-star Timothée Chalamet. Additionally, her film "Challengers," directed by Luca Guadagnino, faced delays due to a SAG-AFTRA strike, but is now set to premiere in theaters this spring. The second trailer for "Challengers" premiered last week, with the film scheduled to hit theaters on April 26th.

The Oscars will once again be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with Raj Kapoor serving as showrunner and executive producer alongside Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan.
