Chelsea Berman Seeks a Middle-Aged Gentleman in Taree
2024/02/07

Country singer-songwriter Chelsea Berman from New South Wales has taken to Facebook to make a unique and exciting request. Berman announced yesterday that she will be filming a new music video on Thursday 8 February and is in need of assistance. She asked for a middle-aged man to be a part of the video, which will be filmed in Taree. The shooting will only take a maximum of two hours in the early afternoon.

Taree is a charming town located in the NSW Mid North Coast and is a hub of activity in the Manning Valley. It is surrounded by picturesque parks and beautiful beaches along the Barrington Coast.

The town boasts a population of over 26,000 residents according to the Visit NSW website. The Manning Entertainment Centre, with its 505-seat theatre, is the perfect venue for showcasing Australian talent.

With its scenic views, Taree provides the ideal backdrop for Berman's upcoming music video. In an update this morning, Berman mentioned that she is still searching for someone to star in her video and even clarified that the person can be younger than middle-aged if they are available and enthusiastic.

Recently, Berman released the visualizer for her new single "If I Have A Daughter," which was produced by fellow Australian country artist Jake Davey.

To promote the single, she created a special video with the help of fans who submitted pictures of their daughters. Berman's other impressive tracks include "Break Up Again" and "Where Does That Leave Me?" The latter, co-written with Melanie Dyer, tells the story of a person in a long-distance relationship who prioritizes their partner's needs above their own.

In a press release, Berman stated, "Filming such a personal and emotional video was challenging, but I am thrilled with the end result. Jake did an incredible job capturing all the thoughts and emotions that accompany the end of a relationship.
