Kacey Musgraves has made an exciting announcement, revealing that her fifth album, titled Deeper Well, is on its way. Musgraves recorded most of the album at the renowned Electric Lady Studios, with her longtime collaborators Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk. The experience of working in the iconic studios was inspiring for Musgraves, as she was drawn to the rich musical history and vibrant energy of New York City's Greenwich Village. She explained, "I was seeking some different environmental energy, and Electric Lady has the best mojo. Great ghosts."

The empowering new single, "Deeper Well," resonates with those who have faced crossroads in their lives. Musgraves acknowledges the shifting winds and changing desires that come with personal growth.

She said, "Sometimes you reach a crossroads. Winds change direction. What you once felt drawn to doesn't hold the same allure. You get blown off course but eventually find your footing and forage for new inspiration, new insight, and deeper love somewhere else."

Deeper Well explores Musgraves' observations of the world, delving into different concepts such as Saturn returns, the symbolism of cardinals representing a deceased friend, the ebb and flow of love, the passage of time, personal belongings being left behind, new love blossoming, the power of talismans, profound lessons learned, the significance of small details, finding solace in nature, and the captivating allure of New York City.
