Jason Momoa Bares Hawaiian Roots, Strips Down to Traditional Malo

Jason Momoa, the 43-year-old actor, once again delighted his fans by showing off his muscular backside in a steamy video shared on Instagram. In the video, Momoa is seen wearing his traditional Hawaiian Malo, a loincloth made of the inner bark of the paper mulberry tree, which is typically worn by Hawaiian men for ceremonial occasions. This time, Momoa was promoting his clothing range called So iLL and wore a matching lavender T-shirt and sandals that featured the same pattern as the tribal tattoo on his left forearm. After showcasing his T-shirt and sandals, Momoa playfully did a shoulder shimmy, displaying his impressive physique.

He captioned the video with details about his clothing line.

This is not the first time that Momoa has shown off his thong-like attire. He previously wore it while deep sea fishing and during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his TV show Chief of War. Momoa explained that the Malo is a traditional Hawaiian garment that he wears every day for his role as a creator, writer, director, producer, and actor on the Apple series Chief of War, which is set in 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. When asked if the Malo is comfortable, Momoa enthusiastically answered, "Oh my god, yes! I actually don't like wearing clothes anymore.

I'm in it every day. I wear it all the time." He then proceeded to remove his blazer and silk pajamas, revealing his bare backside to the delight of the studio audience.

Chief of War is a highly anticipated series that tells the story of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous perspective. Momoa will not only star in the series but also write, executive produce, and co-create it. Temuera Morrison, known for his role in The Book of Boba Fett, has also joined the cast and will portray King Kahekili. The series recently began production in New Zealand and will be available for streaming on the Apple TV+ platform in the future.

Momoa's latest Instagram video and his previous posts showcasing his sculpted physique in the Malo have certainly grabbed attention and generated buzz among his fans. It's clear that Momoa's charisma, talent, and dedication to his craft continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
